Athletics Hall of Fame Ceremony Set for Saturday

STANDISH, ME – The 2013 Saint Joseph’s College Athletics Hall of Fame class will be inducted on Saturday, November 9th.

The 11th Hall of Fame class includes former women’s soccer standout Kathy Britton ’94, Luke Enman ’08, a four-year starter for the Monks’ baseball team, former cross country Head Coach Brian “Ziggy” Gillespie and the 1987 men’s cross country team.

The list of accomplished athletes, teams, coaches, administrators and philanthropists grows to 68 with the inclusion of the 2013 honorees. The complete list of inductees can be found in the hall of fame section of the Saint Joseph’s College athletics website.

To celebrate the college will host a dinner and induction ceremony in their honor. The evening will start with a cocktail reception starting at 5:00 PM in the Harold Alfond Center, followed by the dinner and induction ceremony starting at 6:30 PM in the college's Mercy Dining Hall.

Tickets are $30/adults and $10/children under 12. Due to limited space, please purchase tickets by November 2. Business attire recommended.

Founded in 2000, the Saint Joseph’s College Athletics Hall of Fame honors past athletes, faculty, staff and friends who, through their actions, have brought distinction through athletics to themselves and to Saint Joseph’s College. With the combination of the committee and members who have associations with the college and/or athletics department, the Saint Joseph’s College Hall of Fame has continued to make strides toward the future while honoring the past.
