An elite player during one of the most successful eras in Saint Joseph’s College women’s basketball history, Coates entered the hall of fame as the program’s all-time leader in field goals made (706) and points (1,775) and ranked second in field goal percentage (53.3%), rebounds (1,098) and free throws made (363)

Helped lead the Monks to a 95-23 (.805) four-year record with four Western Maine Athletic Conference championships, four NAIA New England titles, two NAIA National Championship appearances and an NAIA Northeast crown

Claimed All-District, All-State and All-Conference accolades her junior and senior seasons and collected NAIA All-America, Bill Bradley Scholastic All-America, All-America Scholar-Athlete, District Player of the Year and Conference Player of the Year honors following her senior season
