Shawn comes to Saint Joseph's College after playing for Kevin Poulin at Massabesic High School. After high school Shawn went on to play two seasons for Phil Desjardins at Southern Maine Community College.

It was at SMCC that Shawn really blossomed. In 2007 Shawn was a Yankee Small College Conference All Conference selection and was the league's Most Valuable Player. He was also a United States Collegiate Athletic Association Honorable Mention All-American.

With college experience under his belt, Coach Sanborn looks for Shawn to pitch like a veteran in his first year with the Monks.

Shawn is the son of Christine Croke and Glenn Hall of West Newfield, Maine.
