STANDISH, ME – The 2010 Saint Joseph's College Baseball All-Fall Team has been announced. Fourteen players have been recognized for their efforts during the month-long non-traditional season.

Utility player Chris Campbell '11 (Rochester, NH), outfielder Todd Keneborus '11 (Hollis Center, ME/Cheverus), catcher Ian Lee '11 (Hampden, ME) and pitcher Kevin Chamberlain '11 (Scarborough, ME) headline the All-Fall selections, which are chosen annually by the SJC coaching staff. The quartet of senior captains helped lead a very successful fall season, which included featured nine practices, nine Black vs. Blue intersquad scrimmages, and a day of games versus Gordon College on September 25th.

Campbell has been selected as the 2010 Fall Most Valuable Player after hitting the cover off the ball nearly every time he stepped into the batter's box. A utility player who is likely to see time at short, third, second and the outfield this coming spring, Campbell played flawless defense this fall and showed surprising power for a player known more for his ability to scrape out singles and reach base via bunt hits.

St. Joe's swept triple-header against Gordon and showed the potential to be a top-tier team again in 2011. The 2010 club graduated eight seniors, including five starters, from a team that captured a GNAC crown and advanced to the final day of the NCAA DIII New England Regional Tournament. The Royal Blue Faithful should expect this group, which includes nearly a dozen newcomers, to be in the thick of the GNAC title hunt again this spring.
