STANDISH, ME - Former Saint Joseph's College pitcher Charlie Furbush (South Portland, ME) is the subject of a recent "10 Questions" feature on the Official Web Site of Minor League Baseball, www.milb.com.
Furbush, who pitched for the Monks in 2005 and 2006, was drafted by the Detroit Tigers in the fourth round of the 2007 MLB Draft and is currently participating in the Tigers' major league spring training camp.
