Pratt & Lorenc Listed on GNAC Weekly Honor Roll

STANDISH, ME – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) has released its weekly honor roll and two St. Joe's baseball players have received mention.

Sophomore first baseman Mike Pratt (Dartmouth, MA) and freshman catcher Alex Lorenc (Nanuet, NY) have been recognized by the conference for their play during the Monks' first week of competition.

Pratt enjoyed a solid opening week by hitting .440 (11-25) with seven RBI and six doubles in seven tilts. The sophomore first baseman went 2-3 with a run scored, two doubles and four RBI against Franklin & Marshall on March 14th and was 3-5 with a run, two RBI and three doubles against Keene State on March 15th.

Lorenc hit .412 (7-17) with three doubles and four runs scored for the Monks last week. The rookie catcher solidified his spot in the middle of the order with a .588 slugging percentage and a stellar .524 on base percentage in seven games.

Saint Joseph's (2-7) will return to action on Friday with a nine-inning tilt at Roger Williams (3:00 PM). The Monks then travel New Jersey City where the Royal Blue will play three games in two days, beginning with a 12:00 PM doubleheader on Saturday.
