Pratt Earns Second Consecutive Player of the Week Honor

STANDISH, ME – Saint Joseph's College first baseman Mike Pratt '13 (Dartmouth, MA/Bishop Stang) has been selected as the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Player of the Week for the second consecutive reporting period.

Pratt enjoyed a tremendous week for the Monks, hitting .526 (10-19) with an .895 slugging percentage and 10 RBI in seven contests. Seven of his ten hits during the 5-2 SJC week were doubles and he went 6-7 with two runs, four doubles and four RBI in a sweep over Rivier College on Saturday.

The second-year standout currently leads the team in batting average (.472, 34-72), doubles (15), total bases (49), slugging percentage (.681) and on-base percentage (.518). He is tied for the team-lead in hits and ranks second in RBI (21) through 23 contests.

Saint Joseph's (14-9, 5-1 GNAC) will host Thomas College in a non-conference doubleheader this afternoon at 4:00 PM.
