Coach Sanborn Speaks at N.H. Baseball Coaches Clinic

STANDISH, ME – Saint Joseph's Head Coach Will Sanborn '86 presented as one of the keynote speakers at the 2012 New Hampshire Baseball Coaches Association Clinic at Souhegan High School in Amherst, N.H. on Sunday, February 12th.

The title of Coach Sanborn's talk was "A Common Sense Approach to Baseball – Winning with Strike Throwers and Contact Hitters." The 20th-year skipper stressed the importance of character, teamwork and integrity and building leaders. He also talked about the team's productive plate appearances approach, key hitting terminology, and the Monks' pitching philosophy and daily routine.

Other college head coaches speaking at the annual event included Jason King (Franklin Pierce), Joe Walsh (Harvard), Greg Sullivan (Boston College), Brian Leighton (Albertus Magnus), and Bob Whalen (Dartmouth).
