Baseball Second in Region, #16 & #21 in National Polls

STANDISH, ME – A trio of NCAA DIII Baseball polls were released earlier this week and Saint Joseph's College has been mentioned in all three rankings.

The Monks, ranked first in the New England Intercollegiate Baseball Association (NEIBA) poll last week, drop down to #2 this week, but move up two slots to #16 in the ABCA/Collegiate Baseball national poll and collect mention – as the #21 team - in the D3baseball.com/NCBWA top 25 ranking for the first time this spring.

Saint Joseph's, 23-3 overall and 8-0 in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) play so far this spring, will host Maine-Farmington in a non-conference twinbill on Friday beginning at 4:00 PM before hosting GNAC twinbills versus Johnson & Wales (1:00 PM, Saturday) and Rivier College (12:00 PM, Sunday) over the weekend.
