Baseball Ranked 6th in New England

STANDISH, ME - The third New England Intercollegiate Baseball Association (NEIBA) weekly poll has been released and Saint Joseph's College (16-9, 6-2 GNAC) is ranked sixth in the region.

Wheaton College is the top team in New England with 45 points while University of Southern Maine (42 points), Suffolk University (38), MIT (30) and Amherst College (23) all set ahead of the Monks, who received 15 points this week.

Western New England University (13) and Eastern Connecticut State University (5) round out the top eight vote-getters while Trinity College and Plymouth State University also received votes this week.

Saint Joseph's plays four conference contests this weekend, as the Monks travel to Albertus Magnus College for a two-game set on Saturday and play host to Suffolk in a GNAC twinbill on Sunday (12:00 PM).
