STANDISH, ME – The 2014 New England Regional All-Tournament Team has been released and Saint Joseph's College senior outfielder Alex Lorenc (Nanuet, N.Y.) is one of 11 players to collect the honor.

Lorenc, a four-year starter and three-time All-Conference player at Saint Joseph's, helped lead the Monks to a deep run in the 2014 regional while hitting .438 (7-16) with four runs, a double, a home run and three RBI over four tournament contests.

The senior slugger is the sixth St. Joe's player to earn the tournament accolade, as he joins Charlie Furbush (2006), Dustin Spiller '08 (2007), Ben Grant-Roy '10 (2010), Todd Keneborus '11 (2010) and Lincoln Sanborn '14 (2012) on the short list of recipients.

Lorenc, a First Team All-GNAC and Third Team All-New England (NEIBA) honoree as a senior, hit .353 (53-150) with 31 runs, 12 doubles, three homers, 36 RBI and 11 stolen bases during the 2014 campaign.
