Monks Baseball to Host 13th Annual Hot Stove Auction January 15th

STANDISH, Maine - The Saint Joseph's College baseball program will host the 13th Annual Hot Stove Auction on Sunday, January 15th at 1:30 PM in the SJC Dining Hall. The event is free for all to attend, but pre-registration is required.

Head Coach Will Sanborn '86 will kick off the day with a brief preview of the season and introduction of the team and coaching staff. Many appealing auction items will be available for bidding, including tickets for sporting events, memorabilia, gift cards, gift baskets, vacation packages and much, much more.

The Monks will be making a pair of Florida trips again this spring, starting with eight games during the SJC Spring Break (March 5 – 11) and concluding with three contests during the weekend leading up to Easter Break (March 24 – 26). The 2017 season begins March 5th with a doubleheader versus WPI in the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational.

All proceeds from the raffles, silent auction, and live auction will go towards the cost of the Monks' spring trips. Auction items have been pouring in and the list promises to be one of the most interesting to date!

Join alumni, parents, family, and friends for an afternoon of baseball banter and competitive bidding as the Monks prepare for the 2017 campaign!! This event is free and open to all who have pre-registered!!

In the case of inclement weather, the event will be moved to the following afternoon at 12:00 PM in the SJC Dining Hall.
