Monks Ranked Seventh in Latest NEIBA Poll

STANDISH, Maine – The fourth New England Intercollegiate Baseball Association (NEIBA) regional poll has been released and Saint Joseph's College is ranked seventh regionally.

Saint Joseph's, 18-7 overall and 4-0 in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) play, owns a 13-2 record since returning to New England after a 5-5 spring break trip and had won 13-consecutive games before falling to Endicott College, 5-4, last Tuesday (4/10).

UMass.-Boston sits atop the poll with 48 points, Southern Maine is second with 40 points, and Babson College is ranked third with 30 points. Endicott (28), Western New England (27), and Mitchell College (21) are listed ahead of the Monks while Wesleyan University is eighth with six points.

New England College, Springfield College, and Rhode Island College also received votes in this week's poll.
