STANDISH, ME – The Saint Joseph's College Field Hockey team participated in a spring tournament at Lasell College on Sunday, April 11th.
Lasell College hosted St. Joe's, as well as Salem State, Wheelock and two Northeastern College club teams in the day-long event. Saint Joseph's participates in a non-traditional season round-robin tournament every spring.
The Monks earned three wins on the day, defeating Wheelock and the two Northeastern clubs.
St. Joe's posted a perfect 7-0 record in North Atlantic Conference play last fall and went 14-4 overall in 2009. The team's corresponding .778 winning percentage set a new program high-water mark.
