STANDISH, ME – The North Atlantic Conference has announced its weekly honors and Saint Joseph's senior Courtney Rague (Old Orchard Beach, ME) has been chosen as the Field Hockey Player of the Week.

Rague played a hand in all three of the Monks' goals in a 3-2 victory over University of Maine at Farmington on Saturday, October 9th. The senior scored the first two goals for St. Joe's before assisting on the eventual game-winner early in the second half against the Beavers. The weekly conference honor is the first of her career.

Through 11 games for the 8-3 Monks, the senior midfielder leads the team in points (20) and assists (8) and is tied for the team lead in goals (6). Rague has tallied at least one point in seven of the team's eight victories thus far. She also topped her previous high for points in a season with her five-point effort against the Beavers on Saturday.

In 59 career contests, Rague has registered 22 goals, 17 assists and 61 points – the third highest total in program history.

The Monks will host Salem State in a non-league matchup at 3:00 PM on Wednesday.
