HOW IT HAPPENED:

The Monks grabbed a 1-0 lead in the 11th minute when sophomore Libby Pomerleau (Limerick, Maine) netted her team-leading ninth goal of the season off a Maddy Beaulieu (West Gardiner, Maine) pass. Beaulieu delivered a lead pass through traffic to her sophomore teammate, who finished the play with a flick past Wildcats keeper Claire Nolan (West Bridgewater, Mass.).

St. Joe's doubled the lead 3:50 into the second stanza when freshman Alexandra Belaire (Greene, Maine) took a shot that was stopped and junior Kayla Kelly (York, Maine) cleaned up the rebound with her third marker of the year.

THE KEEPERS:

Saint Joseph's junior goalie Megan Baker (Gorham, Maine) recorded four saves to tally her fourth shutout of the season and 17th of her career. Nolan notched four stops in a losing effort for the Wildcats.
