The Monks managed to hold the Cougars – who had outscored their last three foes by a 25-1 composite score heading into today's action – off the board until the 36th minute, when Ja'Carra Jackson notched the first of five unanswered goals.
THE KEEPERS:
SJC junior starter Alexandria Simpson (Pascoag, R.I.) allowed four goals with seven saves in 42:13 minutes while sophomore Isabella Anton (Mount Vernon, N.H.) yielded two scores in 17:47 minutes of relief.
