On October 29th, 2018 a pair of Saint Joseph's College field hockey players garnered Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) weekly accolades, as junior forward Libby Pomerleau (Limerick, Maine) and freshman forward Emma Rutledge (Alfred, Maine) were selected as the GNAC Player and Rookie of the Week, respectively.
Pomerleau scored two goals with two assists for six total points in a 2-0 week for the Monks. The junior standout netted a goal and was credited with two assists in a 5-1 victory over Lasell College to help the Monks clinch the top seed in the GNAC Tournament.
Rutledge netted a goal with two assists in a 2-0 week for the Monks. She notched a goal and a helper in a 4-1 win over Plymouth State and assisted on the game-winner, a Kara Kelly (York, Maine) strike in the 22nd minute, in the triumph over Lasell.
