STANDISH, ME - Saint Joseph's Men's Basketball Head Coach Robert Sanicola '99 has announced his team captains for the 2009-10 season.
Seniors Raymond Eatmon (Huntington, NY) and Alberto Rue (Jamaica Plain, MA) will serve as co-captains for the Monks, who will look to defend their conference title in the upcoming campaign.
Eatmon averaged 12.8 points and 9.3 boards per game last winter and Rue chipped in with 5.3 points and 2.1 rebounds per contest to help the Monks post a 21-8 overall record.
Saint Joseph's will open the 2009-10 season with a game against University of New England at the Harold Alfond Center on Sunday, November 15th at 3:00 PM.
