MMBCWA Final Statistics Released

STANDISH, ME – The Maine Men’s Basketball Coaches and Writers Association has released the final individual statistic leaders for the 2009-10 season.

Rashon Jones ’11 (Bridgeport, CT) wrapped up his junior campaign as the State’s leader in blocked shots average, with 1.61 rejections per game, and teammate Chris Petzy ’12 (Kensington, NH) finished second in three-point efficiency with a 43.6% (44-101) effort from the beyond the arc. Zach O’Brien ’12 (Schenectady, NY) dealt out 4.1 assists per contest, the fourth-highest average among Maine institutions, and Ray Eatmon ’10 (Huntington, NY) finished second in blocked shots (1.58 BPG) and fifth in field goal percentage (56.9%, 107-188).

The 2010 St. Joe’s team was 19-7 overall and registered a 14-4 record in Great Northeast Athletic Conference play under 7th year Head Coach Robert Sanicola ’99.
