O'Brien and Noonan Collect MMBCWA Honor Roll Mention

STANDISH, ME – The Maine Men's Basketball Coaches and Writers Association weekly honors have been released and two Saint Joseph's players – Zach O'Brien '12 (Schenectady, NY) and Clark Noonan '14 (Bangor, ME) – are listed on the honor roll.

O'Brien averaged 16.3 points, 5.0 rebounds and 5.3 assists over the Monks' last three games and tallied a team-high 15 points against NCAA DI opponent Davidson College on December 30th. With 22 points, 10 caroms and nine dimes, the junior swingman was one assist shy of a triple-double against Emmanuel on January 8th.

Noonan averaged 8.5 points and 7.0 rebounds in the first two starts of his collegiate career against Bowdoin on January 6th and Emmanuel on January 8th.

O'Brien averages 14.7 points, 5.0 rebounds and 5.2 assists through 10 games for the 6-4 Monks. Noonan has contributed 3.1 points and 3.0 caroms per contest and is shooting 62.5% from the floor.

Saint Joseph's will host GNAC-rival Norwich University tonight at 7:00 PM.
