STANDISH, ME - Saint Joseph's College is proud to announce a fundraising project to build "Clark's Court" in memory of Clark E. Noonan. Clark, a men's basketball player who died tragically in the spring of 2012, left an undeniably lasting impression on the Saint Joseph's College and Bangor, Maine communities.

The beautiful outdoor multi-purpose court will be built adjacent to the Heffernan Center and will be a lasting memorial to Clark, an individual who touched the lives of many fellow students, faculty, staff, coaches and basketball teammates at Saint Joseph's.

"During his two years here on campus, Clark touched so many people," adds men's basketball Head Coach Rob Sanicola. "It is exciting to have this project move forward because it will not only impact the basketball program and basketball family, but it will also impact the student body by providing needed outdoor recreation space. The project, as it is planned, is emblematic of Clark – he was not just a student or just a basketball player; he was both and much more."

The goal is for construction to begin in the summer of 2013.

Also, all proceeds from Saint Joseph's men's basketball camps during the 2013 spring and summer months and paid attendance from the remainder of the 2013 men's and women's basketball season will be contributed to this worthy cause.
