Plaque Dedication Cermony Held for Clark's Court

STANDISH, ME – The Saint Joseph's College community hosted a brief plaque dedication ceremony on at Clark's Court on Monday afternoon. Athletics Director Brian Curtin presented a new plaque for the court to the senior class, in memory of their classmate, Clark Noonan.

Situated near the campus center, the beautiful lighted outdoor basketball court is a memorial to former student-athlete Clark Noonan, who passed away as a result of a tragic car accident on April 14, 2012. A basketball player at Bangor High School and later at Saint Joseph's, Noonan left an undeniably lasting impression at the College and in his hometown of Bangor.

Constructed last summer, Clark's Court officially opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and blessing on Thursday, September 5th, 2013.
