STANDISH, ME – The 2011 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Men's Lacrosse All-Conference teams have been released and three Saint Joseph's College players have been honored.

Junior attackman Jonathan Horgan (Hingham, MA/Hingham) has gained First Team All-GNAC honors while teammates Spencer Hunt '13 (Jeffersonville, VT/Lamoille Union) and Albert Comins '13 (Newbury, MA/Triton) have claimed Second Team accolades.

Horgan, a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Honorable Mention selection as a freshman, receives First Team honors this spring after netting 24 goals and 30 assists for 54 total points with 40 ground balls and 10 caused turnovers as a junior. He capped the year as the team-leader in assists and ranked second in points and third in goals.

Horgan, who missed all but one game during his sophomore season due to injury, currently ranks second in program history in career assists (47) and third in both goals (70) and points (117).

Hunt, the 2010 NAC Co-Rookie of the Year, collects his first All-Conference honor after leading the team in goals (39) and points (61) as a sophomore attackman. He also ranked second on the team in assists (21) and third in ground balls (48) in 2011.

Comins, a Second Team All-NAC choice as a freshman, ranked second on the squad in ground balls (51) and caused turnovers (27) as one of the best defensemen in the GNAC this spring.

Saint Joseph's (10-8, 4-3 GNAC) moved to the GNAC, which added men's lacrosse for the 2011 campaign, this season after participating in the NAC for two seasons. The Monks advanced to the conference tournament for the third consecutive season and, as the #4 seed, notched the program's first-ever postseason victory with a 10-9 triumph over Becker College at home on April 26th.
