STANDISH, ME - Saint Joseph's freshman attackman Max Meserve (Kennebunk, Maine) has collected Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Men's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week honors.
Meserve tallied three goals, including man-up and man-down markers, and two assists in a 20-10 victory over Emerson College on Saturday. The weekly conference honor is the first of his career.
Meserve has tallied 11 goals, 22 assists and 37 ground balls through 14 games this season. The first-year phenom currently leads the Monks in assists and ranks second on the squad in points.
Saint Joseph's (7-7, 5-1 GNAC) travels to Norwich on Saturday for a GNAC contest slated to begin at 1:00 PM.
