STANDISH, Maine – The 2015 Saint Joseph's College men's lacrosse schedule has been released. The Monks are set to play a slate of 15 games this spring, including eight Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) contests and eight home tilts, which will all be played at Deering Memorial Stadium in Portland.

Head Coach David Beriau returns for his second season at the helm after leading the Monks to a 6-8 overall record, including a 5-5 mark in GNAC play, in 2014. Under Beriau's watch, Saint Joseph's set new team single-season records in scoring defense (6.36) and save percentage (.622) and posted the second-highest caused turnovers per game rate (12.79) in the seven-year history of the program.

The 2015 season kicks off with a pair of home contests over a span of three days, starting with a game versus in-state rival University of Maine-Farmington on Wednesday, March 4th at 3:30 PM. The Monks host Salem State University three days later in a 12:30 PM start.

The conference docket begins with a home game versus Anna Maria College on Saturday, March 14th at 12:30 PM. The Monks then host Thomas College in a non-league contest four days later before hitting the road for a GNAC game versus Albertus Magnus College on March 21st.

Saint Joseph's hosts Husson University, a team the Monks defeated in overtime last spring, on Wednesday, March 25th at 3:30 PM before playing a trio of conference contests in a matter of eight days, starting with a game at Mount Ida College on March 28th.

The Monks play at University of Southern Maine on Wednesday, April 8th and travel to Emmanuel College on Tuesday, April 14th when the Royal Blue faces the defending GNAC Champions under the lights in a 7:00 PM start.

St. Joe's hosts GNAC-rival Norwich University in the regular-season finale at 12:30 PM on Saturday, April 18th and the GNAC Tournament begins three days later with a quarterfinal round. The semifinals will be played on April 23rd and the championship is set for April 25th. All tournament games will be hosted by the higher-seeded team.
