Trainor Tabbed as GNAC Keeper of the Week

STANDISH, Maine – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) weekly awards have been released and Saint Joseph's College sophomore Connor Trainor (Franklin, Mass.) has been named as the GNAC Men's Lacrosse Goalkeeper of the Week.

Trainor posted a 7.50 goals- against average with a 63.4 save percentage in a 1-1 week for the Monks. The sophomore keeper made a career-high 18 saves in a 10-3 loss to UNE on Tuesday and made eight stops in a 9-5 triumph over Thomas on Saturday.

As of March 21st, Trainor owns a 10.42 goals against average with a 50.4 save percentage and 60 saves in nearly 340 minutes in net. He currently ranks fifth in the GNAC in goals against average and seventh in save percentage. The weekly conference honor is the first of his career.

Saint Joseph's plays at Husson University tomorrow in a non-conference tilt scheduled to begin at 4:00 PM.
