Cunningham Earns Second Consecutive GNAC Weekly Honor

STANDISH, Maine – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) weekly awards have been released and Saint Joseph's College sophomore attack Dan Cunningham (West Islip, N.Y.) has been chosen as the Men's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week for the second consecutive reporting period.

Cunningham netted four goals with three assists for seven total points in an upset 11-10 win over Johnson & Wales University on Saturday.

A first-year player as a sophomore, Cunningham is currently tied for second on the team in goals (15) and ranks third in both assists (9) and points (24). He has also registered 21 ground balls and four caused turnovers.

Saint Joseph's (5-8, 3-4 GNAC) will host Thomas College tomorrow in a 7:30 PM start at Deering Memorial Stadium.
