Finn Named GNAC Offensive Player of the Week

­­­STANDISH, Maine - The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) weekly awards have been announced and Saint Joseph's College junior attack Michael Finn (Quincy, Mass.) has been named as the GNAC Corvias Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week.

Finn scored nine goals with an assist in a pair of contests in Florida last week and became the fifth player in program history to reach the 100-point plateau with a goal versus Wentworth Institute on Thursday.

Through four games this spring, Finn has scored 15 goals with one assist and four ground balls. He currently leads the conference in goals and ranks second in points.

In 35 career games, the three-year starter has scored 85 goals with 20 assists for 105 points with 92 ground balls.For Finn, the GNAC Offensive Player of the Week honor is a career-first.

Saint Joseph's (1-3) will play at Mass.-Maritime on Saturday at 2:00 PM.
