Skinner Named GNAC Goalkeeper of the Week

STANDISH, Maine – The first Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) weekly accolades of the spring season have been released and Saint Joseph's College sophomore Logan Skinner (Irving, Texas) has been chosen as the GNAC Men's Lacrosse Goalkeeper of the Week.

Skinner stopped 11 shots on the week for a 73.3 save percentage, including all five he faced in the team's 17-3 win over Husson. Skinner allowed just four goals on the week in a combined 60 minutes of action (one start) in two appearances.

The conference weekly honor is a career-first for Skinner, who is in his first season as the Monks' starting netminder.

Saint Joseph's (1-2) will close out a two-game Florida trip with a 3:00 PM game versus Wentworth College at Northeast Regional Park in Davenport tomorrow. Opening face-off is scheduled for 3:00 PM.
