STANDISH, ME - The GNAC Weekly Honor Roll has been released and Saint Joseph's Men's Soccer keeper Will Pike '10 (Gorham, ME) has been honored for the fourth time this year.
Pike recorded his seventh shutout of the season with three saves against Mount Ida on October 17th and allowed three goals, with 15 saves, in 270 minutes of play for the week. His blanking of the Mustangs was the 15th of his career and broke the program record for shutouts.
The senior tri-captain has also received top weekly honors, as the conference keeper of the week, three times this fall.
Saint Joseph's will play host to in-state rival University of Southern Maine on Wednesday at 3:00 PM before closing out the regular season docket with a conference game at Emmanuel (3-11-1, 1-5-1 GNAC) on Saturday at 12:00 PM and a non-league game at Amherst, ranked fifth in the latest NSCAA New England poll, on Sunday at 2:30 PM.
