STANDISH, ME - Saint Joseph's College Men's Soccer Head Coach Steve Babineau has announced his team captains for the 2010 season.
Paul Robins '11 (Cornwall, England), Joe Happnie '11 (Rockland, MA) and Mike Sanfilippo '12 (Walpole, MA) will help provide leadership, on and off the field, as the Monks attempt to capture back-to-back GNAC titles next fall.
Robins and Sanfilippo earned All-GNAC Second and Third Team honors, respectively, following the 2009 campaign and Happnie emerged as one of the most athletic backs in the conference as a sophomore.
The 2009 Saint Joseph's side went 14-8-1 overall and 7-2 in conference play and collected the program's first conference crown since 2001 when the Monks topped Emerson College in the GNAC Championship, 2-1, at Westerlea Way Field on November 7th.
