STANDISH, Maine – The fifth D3soccer.com national poll of the 2018 season has been released and Saint Joseph's College is now ranked sixth in the country. Also, for the second consecutive week, the Monks are ranked third in New England and 15th nationally in the United Soccer Coaches weekly polls.

Saint Joseph's, ranked ninth in the fourth D3soccer.com poll, moves up three spots after posting a 4-0 victory over Colby-Sawyer College in the team's only contest last week. Through October 1st, the Monks are 10-0-0 overall and 6-0-0 in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) play.

For the second-consecutive week, University of Chicago is ranked first with 985 points and 17 first-place votes. Tufts University, 9-0-0 so far this fall, is ranked fourth and is the only New England Region team to sit ahead of the Monks in this week's D3soccer.com poll.

In the fourth United Soccer Coaches national poll, Messiah College is the #1 team for the second week in a row. The Monks remain third in the regional rankings behind Tufts University and Connecticut College.
