Ward Selected as GNAC Rookie of the Week

STANDISH, Maine – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) weekly awards have been announced and Saint Joseph's College freshman Austin Ward (North Andover, Mass.) has been named as the GNAC Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week.

Ward collects his first GNAC weekly honor after tallying two goals and two assists for six total points in a 2-0 week for the Monks.

Over 16 games this fall, Ward has scored six goals with six assists for 18 total points. He currently ranks third on the team in assists and goals and fourth in points.

Saint Joseph's, ranked sixth and 10th in the latest D3soccer.com and United Soccer Coaches national polls, respectively, will host Salem State University tonight at 6:00 PM.
