Monks Ranked Ninth in New England

STANDISH, Maine – The fourth United Soccer Coaches weekly national and regional polls have been announced and Saint Joseph's College is ranked ninth in New England for the second-consecutive week.

As of October 4th, the Monks boast an overall record of 8-0-2 with a 3-0-1 mark in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) play. Saint Joseph's, led by first-year Head Coach Will Pike '11, has won five-consecutive games – all by way of the shutout – and not allowed a goal in the last 538:11 of play.

The Monks are one of just eight teams in NCAA DIII Men's Soccer to have not yet suffered a loss and have outscored opponents by a 24-4 collective margin with seven shutouts in 10 contests this fall.

Heading into tomorrow's game at Lasell University, Saint Joseph's has an unbeaten streak of 62 games (56-0-6). The Monks' last loss, a 2-0 setback at the hands of University of New England, was on September 4th, 2016.
