Cross, a former member of the coaching staff, has been welcomed back after spending three years as the associate head coach at the University of Southern Maine from the spring of 2020-2023.

Cross played two years of soccer at Umass Boston in 2008-2010. He then transferred to the University of Southern Maine in 2015 after taking a 5-year hiatus from collegiate soccer. In 2015 Cross became a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor and began working in various Residential Drug and Alcohol treatment centers. He was also the Assistant Soccer Coach at Longcreek Youth Development Center during his time working there as a Behavioral Health Tech. Since 2016, Cross has pursued professional public speaking that promotes student-athlete wellness.

Since leaving SJC in 2020, Cross has dedicated his time to the community. He is the co-founder of Kennedy Park Football Club. The mission of the club is “to create a constructive environment, empower aspiring prospects, and unite the community all through the universal language of the beautiful game.”

He is certified by United Soccer Coaches as a level two goalkeeper trainer.
