Monks Host Double-Dual with Husson & Merrimack

STANDISH, Maine – The Saint Joseph's College swim teams hosted a double-dual meet with Husson University and Merrimack College at the Harold Alfond Center on Saturday afternoon.

The Saint Joseph's women split the double-dual event, which was the first meet of its kind to be hosted in the Alfond Center Pool, with a 60-58 victory over Merrimack and a 66-56 setback at the hands of Husson. The win over Merrimack counts as a career-first for Head Coach Margaret Howe, who was tabbed as the SJC skipper last summer.

Since Merrimack does not field a men's squad, the SJC men did not participate in the double-dual format and fell just short, 82-71, versus Husson.
