STANDISH, Maine – Saint Joseph's College hosted a double-dual meet versus University of New England and Husson University on Sunday afternoon. The men posted a pair of wins, topping the Nor'easters by a 110-73 margin and the Eagles by a 115-89 score, while the women suffered 192-63 and 143-111 losses to UNE and Husson, respectively.

THE RUNDOWN – MEN:

  • Freshman Joey Christian (Scarborough, Maine) won the 1000-Free (12:03.21) and finished second in the 50-Back (30.58) and 100-Back (1:05.94) events
  • Junior Stephen Quinlan (Andover, Mass.) won the 50-Breast (32.66), 100-Breast (1:11.29) and 50-Fly (27.70) events
  • Junior Zack Gryskwicz (Standish, Maine) placed first in the 200-Free (1:59.86), 50-Free (24.81), and 100-Free (54.44) events
  • Freshman Caleb Levine (Portland, Maine/Waynflete) won the 100-Fly (1:04.82) and was second in the 500-Free (6:05.12)
  • Sophomore Austin Bear (Hanover, Maine) was third in the 50-Breast (36.58) and 100-Breast (1:23.35) races
  • Christian, Quinlan, Levine and Gryskwicz won the 200-Medley Relay with a 1:53.73 performance

THE RUNDOWN – WOMEN:

  • Sophomore Alexis Coiley (Fort Fairfield, Maine) was second in the 200-Free (2:13.60), 100-Free (1:01.15) and 500-Free (6:00.34) events
  • Freshman Jasmine Dort (Essex, Mass.) placed third in the 1000-Free (13:42.73)
  • Sophomore Autumn Nostrom (Lyman, Maine) finished third in the 50-Breast (38.24)
  • Junior Julia Rowlett (Saco, Maine) placed third in the 100-Back (1:12.89)

Saint Joseph's will host Simmons College and Western New England University in a double-dual event next Saturday at 12:00 PM.
