2014-15 Indoor Track & Field Schedule Announced

STANDISH, Maine – The Saint Joseph's College indoor track and field schedule has been announced. The Monks are set to compete in seven regular-season events with the potential to participate in a trio of postseason meets this winter.

Led by first-year Head Coach Kurt Thibeault, Saint Joseph's opens the 2014-15 campaign with an appearance in the University of Southern Maine Invitational on Saturday, December 6th. The event at USM will be the team's only competition prior to Christmas Break.

The Monks kick off the New Year with meets on six-consecutive Saturdays, beginning with another trip to Gorham where the Royal Blue will compete in the University of Southern Maine Open on January 10th. Meets at Bates College (Jan. 17), Bowdoin College (Jan. 24), USM (Jan. 31) follow before the program participates in the Maine State Championship at Bates on February 7th and the Valentine Invitational at Boston University on February 14th.

The NCAA DIII New England Region Championship takes place at Smith College on February 20th and the two-day ECAC DIII Championship begins on March 6th in New York City. The NCAA DIII National Championships take place in Salem, North Carolina on March 13th and 14th.
