BRIDGEWATER, Mass. - The Saint Joseph's College track & field teams opened the 2019 outdoor season by competing in the Bridgewater State University Invitational on Friday and Saturday. The SJC women finished 12th with 15 points while the Monks' men placed 15th with 11 points.
THE RUNDOWN – WOMEN:
- Junior Marisa Quirion (Gardiner, Maine) finished fourth in the 10,000-Meter run (47:03.82)
- Sophomore Marissa Hoffman (Harwood, Vt.) placed fifth in the 100-Meter dash (13.65)
- Freshman Dori LeMoine (Swan's Island, Maine) finished sixth in the javelin throw (30.56m - program record)
- Freshman Samantha VanDeMoere (Thornton, N.H.) was seventh in 400-Meter dash (1:05.74)
- Junior Lillian Bisset (Jefferson, Maine) placed eighth in the 100-Meter hurdles (18.11)
- Senior Sarah Curtin (Strafford, N.H.) finished 10th in the 5000-Meter run (21:10.31)
THE RUNDOWN – MEN:
- Sophomore Lance Santeusanio III (North Berwick, Maine) was fourth in the high jump (1.80m)
- Freshman Troy Hendricks (Hiram, Maine) placed seventh in the 1500-Meter run (4:22.72 - program record)
- Freshman Jacob Huberdeau (Atkinson, N.H.) was sixth in the 10,000-Meter run (34:44.53 - program record)
- Freshman Michael Brooks (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) finished eighth in the 10,000-Meter run (34:55.29)
- Sophomore Anthony Blatus (Dracut, Mass.) was ninth in the javelin throw (48.26m)
