Thibeault hails from Lewiston High School where he played varsity football and competed as a member of the indoor and outdoor track and field teams. The 2006 Class A 400-Meter state champion and team captain of Lewiston’s first outdoor state championship team, Thibeault garnered multiple All-State and All-Conference honors for indoor and outdoor track and field and ran on the 2006 Maine All-Star 4x400 meter relay team.

Thibeault graduated from the University of Maine at Orono in 2011 with a B.S. in Exercise Science with a concentration in sciences. While in Orono he was a member of the varsity track and field team and competed in both the sprints and middle distance events for the Black Bears.

Thibeault, who will continue as a cross country assistant in the fall, currently resides in Lewiston, Maine.
