STANDISH, ME – The Saint Joseph’s College men’s cross country team competed in nine events and placed fifth in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championship meet under the watch of first-year Head Coach Ray Putnam last fall.

LEWISTON, ME – The SJC men’s cross country team placed ninth with 257 points in the 2011 Maine Men’s College Cross Country Championship 8K on Saturday afternoon. Sophomore Faisal Abdillahi (Lewiston, Maine) paced the Monks with a 29:35 time and finished 70th overall.

FARMINGTON, ME – The Saint Joseph’s College men’s cross country team placed fourth with 119 points in the University of Maine at Farmington Invitational today at Mt. Blue High School. Rookie runner Joe DiSalvo (Derry, N.H.) paced the Monks with a 22:39 effort to place seventh overall in the eight-team event.
