STANDISH, ME – Saint Joseph's freshman runner Joe DiSalvo (Derry, N.H.) has been listed on the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Weekly Honor Roll for the second consecutive week.
DiSalvo paced the Monks and placed third overall with a 30:23 effort in the 8K Colby College Invitational on Saturday.
The first-year runner has finished in the top 10 in three of the four meets in which the Monks have participated this fall. The third-place effort ranks as the highest of his young career thus far.
Saint Joseph's will host the Runnin' Monks Invitational on Saturday at 12:00 PM. Thomas College, University of New England, Maine-Machias, Johnson & Wales, Maine-Farmington, Lasell College, Rivier College and Maine-Presque Isle will compete in the annual event.
