STANDISH, ME - SJC freshman runner Joe DiSalvo (Derry, N.H.) has been listed on the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Weekly Honor Roll for the second consecutive week and the third time this season.
DiSalvo finished ninth out of 74 participants with a 29:17 effort in the 8K Runnin' Monks Invitational on Saturday. The top-10 effort was the freshman's fourth of the 2011 campaign.
The first-year runner was also honored as the GNAC Rookie of the Week on September 12th and collected his first honor roll mention on September 26th.
Saint Joseph's will compete in the State of Maine Championship this Saturday at Pineland Farms in New Gloucester. The men's race begins at 12:00 PM.
