STANDISH, Maine – University of Maine-Farmington captured the Runnin' Monks Invitational Championship for the second-consecutive season with 38 points in the 8K race on the Saint Joseph's course on Saturday afternoon.
Maine-Farmington placed four individuals in the top nine overall, including sophomore Robbie Hollis, who won the event for the second year in a row with a 28:07 performance.
Junior Lucas Fisher (Strafford, N.H.) paced the Monks and finished fourth overall with a 28:38 effort as Saint Joseph's finished fourth with 106 points in the team's annually-hosted event.
Thomas College finished as the runner-up with 55 points and Emerson College was third with 70 team points. Maine-Presque Isle (122 points), Wheelock (179), Mount Ida (182), and Johnson State (190) also competed in this year's race.

- Freshman Kevin McWilliams (New Milford, Conn.) finished 21st (31:50)
- Freshman Ben Plante (Biddeford, Maine) placed 26th (32:44)
- Senior Connor Dufour (Augusta, Maine) was 30th (32:55)
- Freshman Jacob Boissonnault (Biddeford, Maine) raced to a 31st-place finish (33:18)
- Freshman Connor White (Bayport, N.Y.) finished 32nd (33:21)

Next Saturday, Saint Joseph's will compete in the Maine State Championship at the Pineland Center in Gray. The women's race begins at 12:00 PM.
