Moore & Tripp Earn NCAA Regional All-Tournament Honors

STANDISH, ME – Senior Lindsay Moore (Barrington, N.H.) and freshman Carla Tripp (Lovell, Maine) were listed on the Wellesley Regional All-Tournament Team for their performance in three NCAA tourney contests over the weekend.

Moore, the Monks' designated player, hit .500 (5-10) with three runs, a double, a home run and six RBI while Tripp was 5-8 with a run and a sacrifice bunt while playing top-notch defense as the Monks' starting center fielder.

Saint Joseph's (34-6, 20-2 GNAC) opened NCAA Tournament play with a 10-0 victory over Western Connecticut State University on Friday, but bowed out of the regional with consecutive losses on Saturday, falling to eventual pod champion Bridgewater State University – 5-2 in nine innings – and Wellesley College, 6-0.
