Boulanger Tabbed as GNAC Softball Pitcher of the Week

STANDISH, Maine – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) weekly accolades have been released and Saint Joseph's College junior Erica Boulanger (Somersworth, N.H.) has been selected as the GNAC Softball Pitcher of the Week.

Boulanger won both of her starts and posted an outstanding 0.58 ERA with eight strikeouts and 12 hits allowed over 12 innings last week. She tossed six shutout innings with five K's in an important 2-0 GNAC victory over Simmons College on Tuesday.

In seven appearances - including six starts - this spring, Boulanger has posted a 1.78 ERA with a 5-0 record and 18 strikeouts in 35.1 innings pitched. The weekly conference honor is the first of her collegiate career.

Saint Joseph's College will travel to University of Saint Joseph (CT) on Tuesday for a GNAC doubleheader starting at 3:00 PM.
