FARMINGTON, Maine – The Saint Joseph's College alpine ski teams competed in a United States Collegiate Ski & Snowboard Association (USCSA) Reynolds Division panel slalom event at Titcomb Mountain on Sunday. The SJC women won their sixth event of the season with 12 place points and a 4:06.87 total time while the men placed second with 19 points and a 3:43.42 aggregate effort.
For the women, the victory is the program's 13th-consective win dating back to the start of the 2021 season.
THE RUNDOWN – WOMEN:
- Sophomore Courtney Pingree (Marblehead, Mass.) won the event with a 1:18.90 (38.87, 40.03) time
- Freshman Madelyn Zordan (New Hartford, Conn.) finished fifth with a 1:21.45 (40.64, 40.81) total time
- Senior Sarah Hotchkiss (New Durham, N.H.) placed 15th with a 1:26.52 (42.48, 44.04) performance
- Sophomore Erica Irvin (Windham, N.H.) was 17th (1:26.57, 46.84 – 39.73) and won the second run
- Freshman Lillian Souweine (Bangor, Maine) finished 18th (1:26.83, 43.41 – 43.42)
- Sophomore Maeghan Perkins (Turner, Maine) posted a 23rd-place finish (1:32.91, 49.71 – 43.20)
THE RUNDOWN – MEN:
- Sophomore Liam Strobeck (Charlotte, Vt.) finished second with a 1:12.28 (36.50, 35.78) time
- Sophomore Caleb Gorton (Goffstown, N.H.) placed seventh with a 1:15.04 (37.37, 37.67) composite time
- Freshman Jacob Morris (North Woodstock, N.H.) was 10th with a 1:16.10 (37.40, 38.70) effort
- Sophomore Aidan Wolfinger (Bedford, N.H.) finished 18th (1:17.99, 38.61 – 39.38)

Saint Joseph's returns to Titcomb next Sunday for a pair of slalom races. The first event is set to begin at 9:30 AM.
