Gordon Elevated to Women’s Lacrosse Head Coach Role

STANDISH, ME - Saint Joseph's College Athletic Director Brian Curtin has announced that Anna Gordon, who has served as the St. Joe's Women's Lacrosse Co-Head Coach for the past two seasons, will assume the role as Head Coach of the Monks' program.

Former Women's Lacrosse Co-Head Coach Rupert Lewis will remain on staff as he enters his fifth season as the SJC Field Hockey Head Coach. Lewis will also serve as Intramurals Coordinator for the upcoming academic year.

In two seasons as the Co-Head Coach, Gordon has helped guide the Monks to a pair of GNAC Tournament appearances. Prior to her time at St. Joe's, Gordon served as an Assistant Coach at Deering High School for one season. She holds a BA in Spanish from Allegheny College, where she was a four-year starter as a member of the lacrosse team.

Gordon also serves as the Senior Assistant Director of Admissions at Saint Joseph's.
