Allison Collects Second GNAC Honor

STANDISH, ME – St. Joe's Women's Lacrosse sophomore netminder Taylor Allison (Pawtucket, RI/St. Mary Academy-Bayview) has netted GNAC Goalkeeper of the Week honors for the second time this spring.

Allison made 25 saves in three wins over Simmons, Lasell and St. Joseph (Conn.) last week. The sophomore keeper posted an 8.67 goals-against average with a .490 save percentage during the week to help the Monks maintain their undefeated campaign. The sophomore received the same conference honor on March 23rd.

Through 10 games for the undefeated Monks, Allison carries a 9.20 goals-against average with a .487 save percentage. She has registered 91 saves in over 625 minutes between the pipes so far this season. As of April 11th, she ranked third in the conference in save percentage and fourth in goals-against average.

Saint Joseph's (9-0-1, 7-0 GNAC) will host in-state rival University of Southern Maine this afternoon at 5:00 PM.
